Environmental Statement

We kindly request your cooperation in ensuring that this festival remains as environmentally conscious as possible.
It is increasingly important for event organisers to mitigate environmental impact. As such, significant efforts will be dedicated to managing recycling and waste generated during the festival.
A committed team of volunteers will convene on Monday morning to thoroughly clean all areas. Their goal is to responsibly manage any remaining bottles, cans, cardboard, and other materials left behind.
Your awareness and participation are essential to minimising landfill contributions and supporting our volunteers'
efforts. We appreciate your attention to the following guidelines:

  • Bottles, Cans, Cups (Plastic and Paper): Please place these items in designated recycling bins or take them home for proper disposal. This includes bottle tops and ring-pulls. If a bottle should break, please kindly ensure no broken glass is left onsite.

  • Cigarettes: Refrain from discarding cigarette ends on the ground. They are difficult to collect and decompose slowly. Utilise a makeshift ashtray, pocket ashtray, or portable pouch, and empty it into the correct bin once fully extinguished.

  • Disposable Vapes: Please do not leave disposable vapes behind. Please take them home for appropriate disposal.

  • Food Waste: Use the designated bin, take leftovers home, or ensure food is fully consumed.

Finally, to maximise bin capacity and streamline waste management, kindly compact your recyclables and litter before disposal.
Thank you for your commitment to environmental responsibility throughout the festival.
